Finish carpenter Luca Cristiano wasn't looking to hire when he stopped to visit Marge and Theodore Farha nearly 40 years ago. But as he walked into their house, he stopped to inspect a newly made bookcase. Speaking with a thick Italian accent, Luca asked, "Who made this?" Marge and Ted's son, Ed, said he had. Luca thought a little, and asked, "So, you gonna come work for me?"
Ed took the job and two years later was joined by brother, Ted. As the two apprenticed under Cristiano, they learned the finer points of the trade. They also took on a life-long passion for building. Coming full-circle, years later when Ed and Ted opened Farha Construction, Luca was one of the first people they hired.
It's a nice story. But what does it have to do with the project you're planning? Simply this. Watching and learning from a master craftsman taught the Farha brothers that quality work doesn't have to be expensive. Excellence in building comes from thinking smart, planning carefully, working hard and following through.
That's the way Farha Construction has always operated. No matter what the project, no matter what the budget, the work is quality that lasts. And the experience for the people and companies that hire us is one that brings them back, project after project.
